ai-collab-develop

Real products, built together with AI.

mathminds.ai is an AI-collaborative development studio. We ship production software by working alongside AI coding agents: we write the specs, agents build in parallel, a strict reviewer checks every change, and a human signs off on everything that reaches production.

Headless e-commerce · full-stack web apps · design-to-code · data & trading tooling

Why AI-collaborative

AI agents write code fast. Shipping production software still takes discipline.

Speed without structure breaks things. Unreviewed agent output drifts from the design, piles up regressions and quietly touches things it shouldn't.

Context gets lost. Chat sessions end. Without written memory, the next session (or the next developer) starts from zero.

We pair the two. Agents do the heavy lifting in parallel, inside a process built for production: canonical specs, a review gate with evidence, and a human who owns every decision that matters.

Specs are canonical

Work starts from a written spec or issue. Agents build on approved specs instead of re-deciding them.

Pessimistic review

A separate reviewer agent tries to reject every change. Nothing merges without type checks, lint, tests and visual evidence.

Human-owned production

Promotions to production, data migrations and live writes need explicit human approval, behind dry-run gates.

Memory & handoff

Decisions, gotchas and state live in versioned handoff and memory files, so any session can pick up where the last one stopped.

How it works

Our AI-collab development loop

  1. 1

    Plan & specify

We break the product into modules and issues, each with a written spec, acceptance criteria and hard boundaries on what an agent may and may not touch.

  2. 2

    Agents build in parallel

Coding agents each take one issue on their own branch or worktree. A lead session coordinates the fan-out and merges the results.

  3. 3

    Review with evidence

A fresh reviewer agent checks every PR against the spec. It demands proof (tsc, eslint, test output, screenshots) and loops until it approves.

  4. 4

    Ship & hand off

A human promotes to production. Handoff and memory files capture what changed, so work resumes cleanly, with or without us.

What we've built and launched

Shipped this way, in production

Each of these was built with AI coding agents under the loop above, then launched and handed over. Client names are withheld.

Shopify merchant · Launched

Production headless storefront

A custom headless Shopify storefront for a fashion retailer, now running the merchant's live online store.

  • Catalog, search and filters, wishlist, cart, checkout handoff, customer accounts and membership tiers
  • An operations admin for staff: content, discount codes, cancellations, returns and refunds
  • Next.js + TypeScript on the Shopify Storefront API, deployed on Google Cloud Run, with separate staging and production
  • Each request became an issue, then an agent kickoff prompt, then a pull request checked by a separate reviewer agent
Shopify merchant · Design & migration

Figma-to-code pipeline & platform migration

The work behind that storefront: a full Figma design turned into buildable specs, and the move of the whole store from a legacy e-commerce platform to Shopify.

  • Agents extracted design tokens, typography, components, pages and flows into canonical spec modules
  • Every module was drafted by one agent and approved only after review rounds by a fresh agent each time
  • Products, customers, orders and refund history migrated with scripts gated by dry runs
  • Client-facing build-status reporting throughout
Academic research · Launched

Timed video interview & research platform

A browser-based structured interview platform used by researchers to run mock job interviews with study participants.

  • Job description screen, then timed questions with separate think and answer time, recorded from the webcam
  • Built-in post-interview surveys with CSV export
  • No-code admin for intros, questions and surveys, plus multiple studies, session management and ZIP export
  • Bilingual (English/Korean). React + Express on Cloud Run, refined directly from researcher feedback
Automated trading · Launched

Real-time market data & trading tools

A suite of tools for automated trading that ingests live exchange data, charts it and supports systematic research and execution.

  • Websocket-first market-data ingestion with auto-reconnect and a local order book
  • Live charting and analysis dashboards
  • A paper-trading journal with versioned parameters, a control panel, and live execution switched off by default
  • Multi-agent build: lead agents audited the legacy codebases, and parallel workstreams were merged by a coordinator
